For sale is an antique/vintage original Omega Signal Corps trench watch I originally bought out of an estate, it comes with the soldier's coming home box and a card with his story. Dial and hands - Original dial with some radium? lume missing. I louped it and didn't see any cracks. It drives my geiger counter crazy. Case - The case on this watch basically won WW1 on its own and has the scars to prove it. The lugs could use straightening, but it wears just fine on a the included leather bund strap. Movement - The movement runs and keeps reasonable time over the couple hour period i tested it, but I have no idea what the service history is and recommend a service Sold on the pictured strap, with the going home box and its contents $875 USD shipped worldwide via USPS priority mail, or via FedEx 2-day in the US, I am located in the USA (Chicago). Payment via bankwire or quickpay/zelle preferred, paypal can be discussed References are available in the seller feedback section. Thanks OF!
The welcome home kit is once-in-a-lifetime! Great provenance and a crack-free dial. If you are near KC, Missouri, I'd offer this to the WWI museum so that all can appreciate!
The "Gott MIT UNS" medallion is most likely from the Prussian Army and a wonderful artifact! Only a collector like @toddle321 has museum quality pieces like this. A serious point for myself and other entry level collectors, it is a wonderful opportunity here at OF to build a fantastic collection acquiring pieces that the world class collectors like Todd are de-emphasizing or upgrading. I hope all the nitwits stick with ebay!
