Quick question, I recently noticed that my anti reflective sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel have been scratched, they look like something was smudged on the surface, kinda of noticeable, for anyone that’s done service recently on their watches with omega, what’s their current asking prices for ceramic bezels and crystals at the moment? Should I be surprised? It’s for an Omega Seamaster 300m Diver

To be honest I just had this similarly done on my rolex submariner and the pricing for an AR crystal came up to be $150, but since i have an aluminum bezel of course it was under a 100 bucks. Don’t know if Omega’s pricing is a bit cheaper or about the same, thank you so much.

You scratched a ceramic bezel? That takes some work. The AR coating on the crystal, not so much. I’m not sure what the current cost to replace the bezel insert and the crystal are, but it certainly won’t be inexpensive if you have Omega do it. You might want to think about just removing the AR coating instead of replacing the crystal. It can be polished off.

Often the marks on the bezel are particles of whatever made contact with the bezel, stuck to it's surface. So those marks can very often be removed. The AR coating - such is life...

The thing is that I have a new born(fourth kid, a surprise baby) and putting him in and out of the car seat on the left side of the car has surfaced new scratches on my watches so I avoid wearing them when I put him, but it was after I started noticing the smearing down the crystal after cleaning it, I legit don’t know how the ceramic bezel got scratched but it was around the same area. Thanks, I contacted omega and they will send me a service kit to see what they will say.
