Recently had my 2531.80 serviced in July at Omega's NJ service center. The service was for basic automatic service costing around 700 dollars. The watch ran ok but around 2 weeks ago I noticed when the date chaged it only came down 3/4 of the way a few times while changing the time seemed a little stiff, last week the watch stopped running altogether, very disappointed to say the least. Fortunately, its covered under their 2 year service warranty but wish I would have never sent to them in the first place, now reading a lot of horror stories on that facility. I realize shit happens but hate when it happens to me! I'll post what they find in about 4 months...

Yes, things happen, but often it could or can be minimized with just a little bit of extra effort.
A little caring about the next guy goes a long way.

I am the guy that can take apart a bowling ball.
Putting stuff back together, that is different.
