Hi OF
i have found this omega seamaster on Ebay and as the newbie i still am i would like your help.
to me the lume, dial and crown looks okay but your input would be great?
i am not sure about the case, it looks polished to my untrained eye but definitely not sure.
furthermore the price is right now at 675€ is that fair? and how far would you go?
thanks

Hello, the watch does not look so bad. Dial and hands looks ok, case is probably lightly polished.
Consider that the bracelet is not properly the correct one for this reference. 675€ is a fair price but honestly I would not go too over for this one.
With some patience you can find something better on ebay.

It looks nice. If you like it then buy it. Of course, you may find another one you like but then maybe not .....

These sparkle dial Seamasters have gone up a bit in value over the past couple of years and this dial and case are both in good condition. This is the first time that I have seen the brick bracelet paired with this reference and I actually think it looks nice - consider it a bonus. Unless you live in a household, or work in an office that is filled with vintage Omega collectors, nobody will ever notice the mismatch.

You'll need to do a service, so it depends on whether you think you'll keep it long term or resell to buy something else further down the road to decide how high you want to go. As a single everyday day watch, day-date is nice but in a rotation, it is a nuisance if you want it to read correctly. That is one reason that they are more difficult to sell if you want to get your money back.

That's a very creative make-do end piece, I must say that.

Case looks good, an excellent watch to wear. This a very versatile piece. However it's not far from my theoretical spend limit on this auction. Your pockets may be deeper than mine.

If you keep looking, I'd go a bit higher, 10% - 15% maybe for a chronometer; more with one of the correct bracelets.
