The original reviewer neglected to mention the potential wounding effect of the Omega’s HE valve. When properly thrown with the HE valve pointing outward, the Omega will leave a nasty dent in the victim’s forehead with a prominent “HE” impression. Much more effective than the serrated bezel on the Submariner.

Advantage: Seamaster.

I tried both when I bought my PO ti the price is similar around £5-6K. The sub is common every Tom Dick and Harry has one and I find Rolex to ostentatious & flashy, where Omega are more classy in my opinion.

OmegaSean

Somehow I think the sub is both bland and too flashy in certain ways

Would love to see a review of newer ceramic seamaster 300m vs the 41mm submariners.

I’m sure that has been done both here and on YouTube.

Haven't seen any. Maybe reviews will become more av. when the new 41mm subs are more av. .

i have had both for years, i liked both too. it was hard to make the decision to part with the sub but as far as functionality, the sub is built a little better IMO although i can get 3 SM's for the same price.
i think that the Sub is just too common, everyone has one around here. even broke fishermen have them! lol
great tool though

If the modern ceramic Seamaster was a 40mm watch with a 47mm lug-to-lug, I don't think Submariners wouldn't have such long waiting lists. Omega need to start sizing watches for people again!
