Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum! I've been really wanting to purchase my first vintage Omega. I've been reading up on the forum to try to make myself more knowledgeable of what to look for a so forth. I came across a seller called, "Timeless Gallery Shop" which is on Etsy and Chrono24. He has a fair amount of vintage Seamasters which seem to be priced decently. The problem is he is from overseas's (I'm in the US) so I can't go see it and I've never used chrono24 or Etsy. I was wondering if anyone could give their thoughts on the watch. Please see the link below:

Thank you to everyone on the forum. I has been a great help to learn more and more about Omega's!

Welcome!

It helps if you post the photos and ad text here, rather than just a link. That will get you more/ better responses.

Crown is not original despite being signed. Hands seem to be missing their lume which I never like. The minute hand also appears to be broken? Other than that it seems fine.

I’d say the price is high given the aforementioned issues.

'Is that not lume on the hands and markers? Where do you see the break?

It’s hard to tell but it looks to me like the lume is missing. Circled below is where it looks broken.

You may well be right, looking at it that closely.

Just want to mention something about the “TimelessGallery Shop" which is on Etsy and Chrono24...
I have purchased a vintage watch for my collection and I have received it with missing/broken parts. The watch was listed as in excellent condition working properly, etc. I contacted and ask the owner (his name is Leo) to pay for the services so I can have it fixed...he totally refused and he denied everything. The watch arrived with a few broken parts and it was in immediate need of service. Also The watch was not keeping good time as he described; it was gaining 2 hours in 24 hours. I ask the seller to take full responsibility and pay for the service; he refused to stay behind his products. Very bad experience with this seller; I will definitely not buy again from him. Just something to be aware of.
I would post that information here: https://omegaforums.net/forums/watch-seller-profiles/
