Hi Omega SeaMaster owners, there is a super luminova at the 12pm dot on the bezel (not in the case).

Anyone knows if that super luminova is waterproof, weather proof and scratches resistance too?

Since its outside the case, I'm just thinking if it will drop off in time to come due to wear and tear?

It's waterproof and as scratch resistant as the rest of the watch.

What ref? Some seamasters appear to have a tiny sapphire crystal over the dot, others appear "painted" on.

Edit: some of these models have a pearl dot pip. I'm not sure if it's sapphire crystal and haven't tested the scratch resistance.

That's a model, not a reference. A reference is a set of numbers describing the material, dial, color, model, bracelet or strap, etc.

2254.50.00
2255.50.00
2298.80.00
210.92.44.20.01.003
210.32.42.20.10.001

Are just a few of probably more than a thousand references.

Nice.

Well, anyway, they don't just "fall off" and whatever trauma would cause it to fall off would damage the rest of the watch, probably breaking the bezel insert. If it did just "fall off" that would be a defect and I would contact my AD to arrange repair. It's not just applied to the bezel insert: it's glued into a hole in the insert.

As far as scratches, it's so small and light colored, I'm not sure what scratches you're worried about. You wouldn't see any even if it were scratched unless you had a loupe.

The Seamaster 300M is waterproof and so is the bezel insert.

There is nothing to worry about.

I have never had any issues in the many different iterations of Seamasters I have owned over the last 20 years. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
