Thought I'd need to have it - but now I miss my Rolex I traded it for... What am I offering: A (in my opinion really honest and beautiful) Omega 165.024 - 552 serial number starts with 242××××××, so it should be from late 1966/early 1967 - period correct resin bezel with bold font, serif flat 1, curly 3, top 4 as used in 66/67 with some marks - crown is original Omega crown with 24 teeth - case back 165024 HF which is period correct - FB case in good condition - original crystal with Omega logo - dial is a small triangle one with white writing, original lume still tritium (no redial/relume) - hands are period correct sword hands as used in 1966/1967 (Silver second hand) - watch is running and keeps time (still service history unknown + service should make sense) Watch is Overall in very good condition - please see plenty of photos to do your judgement. Not for sale here anymore. Plenty of positive Feedback available here. I am located in the EU - so for the trade I would like to keep it simple/inside the EU. Thanks for your interest!!
Some UV Shots: Some particles on hands and dial are flaring up I'd say. As soon as the UV lamp is turned off both hands and dial get dark immediately. View attachment 904847 View attachment 904849
Definitely the last bump + price update to 5.900 Euro firm before I put it on ebay. You gotta be kidding, Omegaforum? A 165024 in this condition at this price and still not sold??
Well, so only dirt cheap is interesting? Most on Chrono24, here or ebay are in a not so nice condition and sell for at least the same. So I guess the price is more than fair for what I offer - and those watches are limited. If I would choose between a 3k Watchco, a 4k new Speedy I get at every corner or this one here.... well I'd say: not dirt cheap, but well priced.
