Everything is fake except the movement.

If you’re truly interested in buying a 166.024 or 165.024, you need to spend some time studying them. This fake variant and others have been discussed a lot on the forum and on other sites

It’s fake. It has no value apart from the movement.

@adfar when I was interested in making a purchase of vintage SM300, I have spent fair amount of time researching on Buyee/JdirectItems auctions.. If you are doing the same, my best advice would be to disregard any "SM300" which starts with 1 yen or which costs something around 1 USDk. In 99% those are fakes (with genuine Omega movements) just like the watch in your OP. Genuine Omega SM300 in a decent condition of course are present on this platform but they are relatively rare and will cost almost the same as they do cost on the European or US markets.

Deja vu all over again.

We should sticky a post at the top that says: 'Are you a noob thinking of buying a 1960s SM300? Don't. Just dont.
