Omega Seamaster Quartz parts number search

I have a 1976 Seamaster Quartz that needs some repair. The watch runs but inconsistently and I've been told the crown protrudes slightly after a previous repair.
Obviously I'm conscious the watch doesn't hold a lot of value so Omega repair is out of the question. Can anyone recommend a watchmaker who may be able to help with reasonable costs? I'm in North Yorkshire but happy to post if needs be.
In the meantime I'll keep an eye out for a donor movement/crown on the bay.
Thanks.

Ok, so i've made some progress on fixing this watch. Having removed the crown and stem it appears to have remedied the inconsistent running. With the stem removed the watch has been running for 24hrs without missing a beat.
I'm not trying to source a replacement stem and crown. Would anybody be able to provide Omega part numbers for these items to help with my search?
Thanks

Hi! It’s very possible that if the stem wasn’t perfectly straight or correct for the watch it might have created unwanted friction that rendered the movement unreliable and inaccurate… the torque given by the small stepper rotors is really minuscule thus even just a hand lightly rubbing the dial may create unevenness of beating. At least, my 2c from a complete newbie, might be completely wrong. Anyway, the stem part numbers are:

1340-9100 for the regular stem
1340-9115 for the long version

You’ll find lots of them even NOS online, mainly for the first reference.
The crown is part of the watch case so without knowing the watch ref. # it would be difficult to be of help (at list for someone not experienced. I’m sure that many people here are capable of knowing it at a glance).

Bye!

Thanks for the info Davide 👍
I'll have a look online and see if I can source a NOS.
The case is a 196.0080 if that is any help identifying the crown?

You’re welcome!
That reference is definitely of help!
The original Omega crown part number should be the 069ST43281 for the stainless steel one.
You can find some still BNIB on the web.
