·Nothing appears fake to me. Bracelet is pretty worn, but it is an otherwise reasonably nice watch for $250. You won't make any money reselling it if that is what you're after, but if you just want a nice watch to wear, this would do the trick.

·The 1342 types I play with had about a 50% failure rate. On the other hand if they work, they work. I really like these early quartz watches.
