*SOLD* ( $2,200 OBRO) I have the rare Omega Seamaster Professional Lillehammer 1994 Olympics 41MM automatic watch, reference 2832.21.98 (9 of 194, truly a limited run !! 😎 )

As probably you know by now Omega has been through recent years the official timekeeper of the Olympic events, issuing in every event multiple commemorative models. The 1994 the winter Olympics were in Lillehammer, Norway and the official timekeeper was not Omega, but rather Seiko ! 😲

Looks like Omega didn't like that and decided to still issue commemorative watches for the occasion, but for the Swiss olympic team. The watch was also issued on a few editions to the public and sold exclusively in Switzerland:

1- Stainless steel case, medium (36 MM) and full size (41MM) in quartz, numbered edition
2- Stainless steel case, medium (36MM) and full size (41MM) automatic chronometer (caliber 1109), limited and numbered run of 194 pieces each
3- 18K yellow gold case, medium and full size automatic chronometer (caliber 1109), limited and numbered run of 49 pieces each

The dial is white with the very nice, original wave design and has the Swiss flag and the olympic symbol as in honor of the olympics and the Swiss olympic team. The automatic chronometer models were released on a very nice ivory leather box which included five double ridge leather bands (one for each color of the olympic rings) and a wood spring bar (see pictures below from the Omega, a Journey Through Time book)

The watch for sale is from the limited and numbered 194 run of full size (41MM) automatic chronometer pieces (9 of 194, given the low number could have been owned by a VIP client, perhaps?) and comes with the original ivory leather box with wood spring bar tool and a stainless steel, Bond style 1503/825 20MM bracelet (comes with 6 full size and 2 half size removable links in good conditions, very little stretch on the band as shown).

I don't have the original warranty paperwork for the watch nor the original leather bands, but it was serviced by Time Care Inc (Rik Dietel) early this year. The watch case and rotating bezel / insert has a few marks as shown; would say it is in good conditions for a 25 year old watch !. The rear of the lugs have a few marks from previous bracelet changes, the white wave dial and the sapphire crystal are in good conditions as shown (as part of the service the hands were replaced and the dial was re-lumed). The serial number on the lug (covered for privacy) matches the movement serial number. I have not seen, not even on the Omega forum, an automatic full size like mine (the quartz version is more common as there are supposedly about 1000 on each size) so truly a rare / special piece to own! 😉

Included with the watch head are:

1- Excellent conditions, new style (screws rather than pins) 20 MM Omega bond style stainless steel bracelet, reference 1515/816; should fit at least a 7 3/4 inch wrist.
2- Omega leather ivory box with wood spring bar tool; exterior white Omega carton box.
