For sale is an Omega Seamaster Professional Automatic “Bond” watch. It comes with its original inner and outer box, Chronometer Certificate and the operating instructions. It also comes with two additional “half links” but you will need to get a couple tubes to install.

My understanding is that this watch was released after the quartz watch (which is technically “the” Bond watch) but with the resurgence of interest in mechanical watches, this reference has really stolen the spotlight. And so be it - it’s a great watch that lays tight to your wrist and is very comfortable to wear in various settings.

This piece may not be considered “vintage” to some, but it has tritium markers that have turned a wonderful yellow. The hands also have patina and look great with the blue wave dial. The blue bezel has ghosted to grey.

    Reference: 2531.80.00
    Size: 41mm without crown
    Movement: Cal. 1120
    Dial: Blue Wave
Crown: screw down crown & helium escape valve
Markers: Great yellow patina, date @ 3 o’clock
    Crystal: mineral glass
    Bezel: Blue/gray rotating bezel
Hands: Beautiful matching patina and no flaking lume, second lollipop hand with orange tip
    Case back: Wave Hippocampus
    Bracelet: 1503/825
Serial #496***** (blocked out for the privacy of the next owner)

Please refer to the pictures as the best indication of condition. The photos of the watch were taken by an old iPhone 6 today and have not been edited except to crop or rotate the image. Below is my best attempt to fully describe the watch.

This is a classic watch with honest wear. It is in working order and the date wheel turns promptly at 12. The watch keeps good time and I believe it may still be in chronometer specs, but I don’t have the machine to check. I am unsure of its service history and therefore recommend a service.

The case looks great with normal wear and minimal distractions. The bezel is far from perfect, with bumps and scrapes throughout. It is also slightly ghosted to a graying blue and changes in the light. It think it looks phenomenal and prefer it to the darker blue bezels.

I would like $1800 sent PayPal F&F or by wire + shipping at cost. Watch is located in the USA but I can ship internationally.

I have plenty of feedback on Omega Forum for selling and buying and am happy to share it if you can’t find it. If you have any questions, just shoot me a pm. Thanks OF
