Hi all, For sale is a very affordable Omega SMP 2254.50. I recently picked this up as the deal was too good to pass on. However, I have a Speedy coming in the mail, so I need to keep space (and money) free for that gorgeous lady! The Details: This watch was bought on the gray market in 2005. Thus, the serials on both the underside of the lug and the movement have been removed from the watch. The service history is not known, but, the watch is keeping very good time (about +5 seconds per day) – I will update this listing if any deviations occur. The winding is smooth, as is the thread of the screw-in crowns. The bracelet is in decent shape, but not great shape. It is sized for a 6.75" wrist. A lot of it's luster could be brought back from a professional polish/brushing, but some scratches are a little deep. I have never personally polished a bracelet, but I would guess that about 85% of the scuffs would come out perfectly fine. Also – to my knowledge, the bracelet has never had a polish. All edges and engravings on the clasp are sharp. The watch case is in excellent condition – roughly TZ 95%. It has never been polished, and that is made obvious by the very fine grain of finishing on the sides and caseback. There are some hairline scratches on the polished parts of the case, and a couple hairline scratches on the brushed side of the case. The bezel is crisp, aligns well, and has no fading/paint chips. The insert is nearly flawless having virtually no scratches or dents. The lume glows bright as a torch, as is customary of this model. No boxes/papers are included.
