For sale is my beloved and classic 2254.50.00 SMP, which needs no introduction. It has a cult following because of its killer good looks, tried and true 1120 movement and top tier lume. The ONLY reason I am selling is to make room for a 14060M sub. This watch was serviced in 2011 and using WatchDrift over two weeks I calculated that this watch gains on average, +10s/day. All functions work as they should. Diver extension is TIGHT, adjusting the crown is solid and the watch winds up very satisfyingly. This watch comes with inner/outer Omega boxes, manual book, pictogram card, all the extra links and a warranty card. The serial number is clearly visible and reads 80936XXX. As with most watches in general, the most wear is on the 12:00 side of the bracelet. The way the human arm works, when the watch is on your wrist you really have to contort yourself to see this part of the bracelet. It's not perfect, but never bothered me and could probably be mostly polished out if desired. The 6 o'clock side of the bracelet is really quite nice in general (excellent condition: TZ guidelines) as is the watch head (very good TZ condition) itself. I see no faults in the sapphire crystal. On the wrist the watch really looks great as you will see and the scratches never bothered me at all. On past SMP's of this generation I have had problems with the bezel click spring, but the bezel on this watch rotates with a satisfying and solid 'click.' The bracelet fastens solidly and releases as it should. Lugs are nice and thick. I am asking $1,888 shipped. PayPal only, unless you want to do a face to face in Knoxville which I am happy to do. This includes PayPal fees, shipping and insurance. I am very familiar with shipping and have excellent eBay feedback: http://www.ebay.com/usr/the_wangmeister I have changed my picture to the Omega logo for this transaction, feel free to message me on there as well for verification. A nice SMP indeed! and one of my favorite diver's watch! Here's a review that introduced me to this model and convinced me in getting mine! http://seamasterreferencepage.com/s...odel2254-50-00-vs-the-rolex-submariner-16610/ GLWS!
This was the first Omega divers watch I bought and I wouldn't part with it - it's unsurpassable and I hope a new and entirely satisfied owner is found soon. GLWS
