Just get into this vintage watch area and when I was watching those vintage watches video on youtube, the omega seamaster really got me!! Found out that there are so many types of seamaster, I really have no idea which one is the best i should go for? Any opinions about the seamaster as my first vintage watch?

And here is a watch i found on ebay, no the seamaster, any opinions about that? Is there any way to identify its Authenticity? Seller is asking for $380. How is this price look like::yawn::

Uses a tiny cocktail watch movement in a bigger case. But not massively bigger, measures only 31.5mm across. Not one for the purists perhaps.

Search on 111.022 or 111.0022 for further info.

Oh and the price sounds high for a ladies/boys* watch, they routinely fetch much less than men’s sizes.

*not a ladyboy’s watch, that would be something else.

The watch you listed is an Omega De Ville from the early 1960s. All of the things are authentic but be aware that the small ladies caliber 620 was probably an effort by Omega to use surplus movements, thus putting the ladies movement into a mans watch.

If you like it and the style suits you, I can't see any big problems.

Way overpriced for a tiny De Ville of 31.5 mm with a lady movement and no second hand.

If you are serious about the vintage seamaster the model spans a lot of years
Take some time to look at the many great examples on the forum
Good ones usually don’t come cheap
My personal favourites are the early bumper automatics
But if you are intending to wear the watch on a regular basis
Perhaps one of the later 360 rotor models would be better
Here’s my 1953 rose gold capped bumper 52271FCA-AB33-49ED-A53E-E6765BC58523.jpeg

Oy, why the hate on the 620? It's just as much a work horse as the 601

It looks like a 14575 case. If it is, it will contain the excellent 552 automatic movement. Everything appears original and in very good condition. Nice!

It is not a simple watch to open, as it has a one-piece case that opens from the front. If you need to open it, I would take it to a watchmaker.

From the style of the S in Seamaster, this watch probably dates 1959-1962.
