Despite being on OF for quite several years, this will be my first sale posting. God (and my wife, who is second to God) knows that I purchased many pieces from several honorable members, and all those have been enjoyed! However, there is a time that one needs to take stock and be practical in the number of watches that can be worn (and of course, my wife gave told me its time to sell some...). This is an Omega Seamaster, model KO2846, S/N dates it to 1956, which is consistent with the “Hanger S” font in Seamaster on the dial. This has provided much enjoyment for me for more than 3 years, and I hope it will provide the same for a member of our group. As far as I know, this is all original (see service history below). Dial: cream coloured patina, guilloche dial design with cross hairs, gold dagger markers, gold dauphine style hands Movement: highly regarded automatic calibre 501,19 jewels Case: 34.25 mm diameter, gold capped with gold bezel, steel snap-in caseback, newer replacement crystal Crown: original, signed Omega Strap: 18 mm width aftermarket black leather Service history: unknown, not serviced by me but has been keeping excellent time on my wrist.
