Omega Seamaster Identification Help

Hello all. I am in possession of my grandfather’s omega automatic seamaster calendar watch. I had it cleaned up and tuned by watch jeweler accustomed to working with antique watches but forgot to have him take a picture when the back case was off for identification purposes. I was trying to figure out which model it is exactly (though I am fairly certain I have the tag that goes with it) for resale purposes. The band is not the original one as my grandfather had replaced it long ago. Thanks for any help you might be willing to offer.

Your eBay listing sums it up. Except it’s missing that the dial is refinished, which significantly impacts value.

I’m not certain of the model number but unfortunately the dial has been crudely repainted, which will limit its resale value.

Thanks for letting me know! I was unaware. I don’t want to falsely advertise.

If I might ask, how can you tell it has been repainted?

Trained eyes.
When you see hundreds of them, you can just tell.
