    Hi

Can atone tell me if the Dynamic II was available in more than one size?

all the ones I have seen advertised seem to be 33/34mm however I purchased one of these for my then wife bcd when they were new and I am sure there was a larger version available from the dealer which I always regretted not buying for myself at the same time.

The attached photo indicates that there were indeed two sizes but I have been unable to locate the larger size anywhere.

Perhaps it is a composite photo and not two watches side by side?

    Any clues?

Yes, there were mans and ladies sizes.

They show up on eBay occasionally.

All the ones I have seen on eBay have stated they were Mens/Gents but all have been the 33/34mm case size. I have not seen any specially marked as Ladies although I have seen them as marked as Unisex.

Any idea of the case size for the mens version?

Yep, there were only two sizes and the gents model, the 196.0301, was around the 33mm size. In these days of watches larger than the land mass of Finland they do appear a tad small, and they're often described as you noted as 'Unisex' . In the mid eighties when these were produced watch diameters, other than tool watches, were around that mark. Ultrathins and dress watches reigned supreme and case sizes at max were around 36mm.....as I'm sure you may recall :)

    Regards

    Thanks Desmond

If the Gents was indeed around 33mm how much smaller was the women's model?

A;though having said that, I do recall that generally 'Ladies' watches were often quite tiny.

    Cheers

Yes, the women's model was about 22mm, from memory.

Sure seems so now when everyone seems to want something the size of a small alarm-clock strapped to their wrist.

Try here for the bracelet parts.
