So, I was supposed to get this one on Saturday night, but my phone alarm did not wake me up and I missed it. I felt so bad in the morning... very sad. Did anyone from OF get it?

This one had a great case but a rather poor dial. But, as I am a sucker for blue dials I really wanted it.

Anyway, everyone who knows this reference knows that these blue dial variations are rare.
What hit me with this one was a bit of metallic or glossy dial. I had seen matte dials before, but never this one.
I talked to the seller and he was a great chap and he definitely knew a few things about this reference.

Have you seen one of these before?
I'd appreciate any info!

Here you can see a matte blue dial.
This one is offered by one vintage dealer for a hefty price tag.

As rare as these are, that dial degradation would put me off…so I would say your phone alarm did you good 😀

Yeah. I don't mind those issues. For me, it's still a pretty face. I like the metallic and blue combination.
There are not many vintage chronographs that are like that. I think Breitling Top Time 815 has one...

How are those scratches even possible I wonder, they should've been done when the dial furniture was removed?

Lume pips look a bit weird too

But it also doesn't make sense for a redialer to just scratch the dial and not re-re-dial 😀

Yes, I couldn't take my eyes off it all day. My working day ended after I picked it up from DHL hub 😀
And as they say "Ask and you shall receive"!

Can I call dibs please (for the unlikely event that you wish you to move the watch on)?

There's a dibs list. You are not in top 5 😀

Very hard to see them with such an immaculate dial, glad to see them like this.

Wanted to share some prettier photos (I have learned how to reflect the light) that I have taken of this watch lately.
Wish it had a bit better case... still, the dial is king here.
