Hey guys. I just recently had received this watch as a gift. I was wondering if anyone had an idea on the reference number of this one, and opinions on if it was a redial. My father picked this up at a garage sale about 10 years ago for 0.50$ and it got lost for some time, and it resurfaced 8 years later. My dad had it serviced ( the watch keeps excellent time) , and my dad said the dial was replaced with a genuine dial, but i have a suspicion it is redialed ( look at the cross hairs and the 12 hour marker. Thoughts?

edit: i know its a bumper movement but not sure of the caliber. I will take this to a watchmaker some time.

While the dial originally came from Omega, the dial was redialed, i.e., repainted.

As mentioned the dial was redone. The movement is likely a 353 or 355

Cool, that's what I thought, such a shame. I gotta hunt one down that's not redialled and swap it out. Anyone have an idea for what a dial like this would cost ( ideally NOS or a oem replacement )? And any idea of a cost of such a dial?

These dials are NLA. Your best bet would be to post a WTB ad here on the forum or scan eBAY until one comes up for sale. Don't hold your breath .....

These dials do come up on occasion on eBay. Search for Seamaster 2627
