·Hi everyone,
I’d really appreciate some opinions on this Omega Seamaster CK 2886 with the cal. 321 movement.
I haven’t bought the watch yet, so unfortunately these are the only photos I have. Sorry for the quality.
I’ve been trying to research this reference, but I’ve come across some things that confused me.
One thing that concerns me is the caseback. The seller told me there are no engravings at all on the outside. From what I’ve seen, many examples are engraved with both the Seamaster hippocampus and “Waterproof.”
Were all CK 2886 casebacks originally engraved, or did some leave the factory without them?
Oddly enough, I feel like I can almost make out a very faint “Waterproof” engraving in the area I’ve marked in one of the photos, but that could easily just be wishful thinking on my part.
Finally, I’d love to hear your overall opinion on the watch, including the movement, case, and whether anything immediately stands out as incorrect.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to have a look. Any thoughts or observations are very welcome.

- I’ve noticed that some CK 2886 examples have “Seamaster” printed on the dial, while others don’t. Is that actually correct for this reference, or should every original dial have the Seamaster script?
- What do you think about the dial and hands? Do they look original, refinished, relumed, or replaced?
- I’d also appreciate your thoughts on the crown and pushers. Do they look appropriate for this model?
