The Chrono-Quartz 1611 developed in-house by Omega in 1975 was launched in 1976 to celebrate the Montreal Summer Olympic Games. 15,000 examples where produced, the first "hybrid" watch in the world with both analogue display for the time functions and LCD (liquid crystal digital) display for the chronograph functions, the two driven by the same quartz resonator

Its been one of my favourites but it has to go as I don’t wear it enough and is really too large for my wrist.

    Case Measurements:
    47mm without the crown
50.6mm including the crown and buttons
    34mm from lug to lug
Good condition brush steel Omega Case,Ref: ST 196.0052. Some light dents.

Movement - Perfect condition Quartz movement Cal.1611 in perfect working order.
( I left the stop-watch running so you can see all digits work. Holding the split time button will show the 1/100 sec)
Crystal – some light chipping along the bottom edge, you can see it in some photos. Otherwise very good
    Dial – perfect.
Strap – Very good condition with a few faintly visible light scratches.

Works Perfectly and just put in new batteries.
