Hi @nicomedo, have you done an eBay search? Is it yours? What have you paid or are you willing to pay?

Btw: your watch is taking 'bumper' to a whole new level.....

Edit: after some diggin': looks to me (but hey...) that the cal and case are no match.
The 344 did not leave the factory in this case-ref. Next to that, the cal is not a SC, as stated on the inner backside. Might explain the extra 'bump'....

Hi @Willem023 , I have searched ebay but could not find the same watch. Only the case ref and caliber to be honest.
I have bought it 1000 € on C24 but can still return. Do you think i should?
I quite like it but if it's not worth the money I could return it.
    Thanks for you help

Don't think there IS a same watch. This looks like a put-together thingy.

The watch-lover and collector in me might value that at approx EUR 0.
Well, the parts might be of some use.
    Me, I would run. Fast

But I might be completely wrong.

Might be a good idea to ask here first and then buy :whistling::whistling:

I could also frame it as a reminder... ::facepalm1::

Everyone is entitled to it's own mistakes.
People call that 'noob-tax'. Sorry for that.

    My assessment
    - The plastic inner-rings around the cal made me wary, to say the least. These parts are alien to any fine watch
    - The SC on the backside usually (as in 'always') implies a 'central sweep' seconds-hand, so not a small one somewhere on the dial
    - A lot of enthousiasts use Naligazone (http://naligazone.com/index.php/data-watch/omega) as reference of cal + case combination. For your watch, that does not work out
    - The lume on the hour-markers is very bright and fresh: for them to be 'original' they would have had the color of the hands presumably
    - The crown is not original to this watch, but a later service-replacement (which is fine, but not original)

And then I have not assessed the actual dial and case......

    Good luck

For 1k definitely return it. You can get an accurate piece for that price.

    Good luck!

    The case covers 3 reference's
    2765-1 SC
    2764
    2771

The 2765- SC is a center second an cant be a cal. 344

But the two other references can be a cal. 344 and if you google this reference there are others with caliber 344 so i think is correct.

The spacer is normal metal on these bumpers.

The price is to high IMHO

Like to learn: what do you mean by that? That rim in the case? Seems to me it is put in to house the smaller cal in the larger case.....

I actually did and the only thing that comes up is an empty case or caseback (on the 'Bay....., not my most trusted friend)

Love to see some ref material, esp whilst Naligazone doesn't match the 344 with any of the 3 case references.

There are some references that are not mentioned in the Omega vintage database.

Spacer in a bumper here in metal to fit the gap between case and caliber, normal when used in larger cases:

I know, always willing to learn. And I don't think Naligazone is from Omega, but hey.

Do you know if there are some lists with cal-case combinations (I know there are on Constellations, but this earlier ones?)
What is your take then on the kind of material that functions as 'spacer'?
