Omega Seamaster Cal.285 Help

Hello Gents,

First time poster, slowly getting into the world of vintage Omega.

Looking at the Seamaster with a Cal.285 below.
The questions I have is (A) What is the white ghosting halo effect around the Omega emblem? And (B) What is a realistic price to pay for a Seamaster such as this. I end up gravitating towards this era and style lately. I am assuming the hands were either replaced of re-lumed at some point. Any help is greatly appreciated.

plus the case is quite soft, my guess the auction will ended up around 3-400 US.
