Hello I'd like to know if this seamaster 600 I found is legit, the dial looks funny but other parts seems to checkout.

I'm new to this so kind remarks would be appreciated.

I apologize for the out of focus pic, here's another pic of the dial
Not an expert on this ref but I believe it's a redial, missing letters on Swiss made too.

Other aspects legit? Case Back checks out

Though I'm kinda iffy if I should proceed with procuring it since it's a redial

Even if the dial is original (which it's not), the absence of letters is a good enough reason for you to reconsider.

It’s a genuine watch but the dial has had work. These are fairly common so no need to compromise on the dial

Thanks for the insights, dodged a bullet there. I've been wanting to own a vintage omega for awhile now and when I saw this, I got too excited that I almost jumped the gun to get the restored and sold to me, good thing I noticed the redial and asked here.

You did well you asked first! Welcome stick around and good luck with your hunt. This is a nice basic hand wind reference research it and take your time to find a nice one. This is what the script should look like for comparison. But also note the pitting on the dial on magnified view on my example try to find dial in better condition they are around. Can get nice one for less than $500 if your patient.

here is good overview video on these
