Hallo all !
I wonder if someone can tell me more about my father’s OMEGA and maybe the value . It was a gift from Pakistan President or Prime minister , since my father was Yugoslav Air Force officer and flight eng . on Yugoslav President Tito's airplane

Well the logo on the back is that of the Afghan Airforce so your recollection may be out slightly. It is in good condition seemingly. These silver dial SM600 models are nice but not worth mega money, black dial mil watches are worth more though if you can prove the provenance, and it really was given by a world leader that may add something. Without provenance mid to high hundreds of $ or £ would be my guess. With, maybe a little more. The watch dates to circa 1967 btw. The Tito link probably adds rather more value than any link to Afghanistan in the 1960s so paperwork showing that might be more beneficial.

Hello @Airmax29, it looks like you have the movement, model and serial number on the tag but you would need to open the watch to confirm.

Movement: 601
Serial: 25,897,690 There's plenty of sites giving an approx. age i.e. https://www.bobswatches.com/omega/serial-numbers which puts this at approx. 1967.

Model: ST 135.011 (ST is stainless steel) you can get an idea on value by look on sites such as C24 or eBay sold prices i.e. https://www.chrono24.co.uk/omega/ref-135011.htm#gref

Is the box grey or red?

I am just curious but does the movement affect the value of a particular pièce? Would the seamaster automatic 56x be less or more expensive/desirable than a seamaster 600?

All things being equal yes, an auto version of a particular watch would sell for more than manual but you can't generalise across the whole Seamaster ecosphere, it depends on the model. There is no auto Seamaster 600 for instance, the 600 in the name refers to the manual movement family, not to depth as some assume.

In this case, a watch with military markings normally has a premium over a std watch, a watch with a link to a famous person also has another boost. Both though need to be backed up by provenance though as there are fakes out there inc of casebacks.
