That is a nice watch, but the cross hairs aren't my taste.

TBH, it does look small in the photos. Just something about the proportions. I'm not sure I would be happy with it, and certainly not for $900. I think that's about 2x the value.

Too much. Size is equal to similar companies watches. Some larger. Longines I had was 33 mm.

Price too much. $400 pushing it due to size. 34.5 mm. Price might be fair, but depends on movement condition

Unless serviced. Add that into the price

Given your liking for this watch, you might also have a look on Chrono24 and eBay for Omega 14704 (34mm) or other 147** editions and Omega 165.003 (34.5) models

Here is the feedback I received. The 33.3mm sizing is without the crown and these are the photos he sent after taking it to his watchmaker. Thoughts??

It’s a 33mm watch which is small (it will look smaller than a standard 34mm watch) and without a bracelet or service $900 is expensive. I’d keep looking.

Could the watch have been measured in an inexpert manner and in fact is a typical 34mm model?

33.3 seems a bit small for the models being sold by Omega when the 501 automatic movement was first introduced, especially for the models featuring the newly introduced full rotor automatic movements.

I wouldn't mind if the watch measured 33.3mm and would be happy to wear it whether 33.3mm or 34mm. All my watches don't have to be as big as the wheels on the average city bus.

The asking price is excessive. $450 to $600 would seem to be in the Ebay price ranges.

The measurement is correct. This is a little bit smaller of a model.
