New version, only because it has waves which IMO make the dial really pop, I have the old 2500 version and the dial on that is superb much better than the plain dial.

But as you have discovered we all like different things, which one do you prefer and why?

I’ve always thought that the wave pattern added a little more dimension to the look of the watch. As attractive as the plain face is...it doesn’t jump out and grab my attention. Surfs Up baby...Go with the waves !

Between those two, I prefer the the 210. But I'm having a hard time choosing between the 210 and the 2220. Slightly smaller and thinner versus the movement.

To me the dials are not an issue either way, do prefer the date at the 6 o'clock position, dial symmetry is better. Would prefer the smaller size, however the deal breakers for me are the adjustability of the new clasp and the METAS Certified movement. I am near magnets a lot, already had a problem with my Speedy becoming magnatized.
Going to seal the deal on a blue one tomorrow.

Thanks Martin..I have finally decided to go with the new one as I feel its more robust ( slightly thicker though) and the bezel has better symetry as pointed out by one of the forum member. Although one thing I hate is the bordered traingle marker at 12'o clock position as I prefer the full triangle in the old model
