A bit harsh, that movement has got to be worth at least a Ton.
OK, $100... What a "Score"! 🙄

Thanks all. Too many doubts, so I passed at the auction. Was too good to be true. Appreciate the learning curve here on this forum.

The quality of fake components has progressed a lot in the last years. Fifteen years ago there were only the Vietnamese, pointyA , certiFED, stubbies.

Just for the record: have seen a few stubby dials now, where the stubbies have been masked to the rim of the dial. They must use a very fine pointed 0.1 mm special drawing pen with matte Japanese ink, I guess. Very, very hard to spot until you take it out of the case..... Stay alert. Kind regards. Achim

As has Dan said the ageing on case and hands is quite convincing. Upon closer inspection everything is quite obviously wrong.

The sides of the the mid case are curved when they should be straight, the Triangle on the dial is not quite the right shape and the bezel is incorrect font.

What is interesting is the stubbies are gone and the case back appears to have a flat topped A. Two quick indicators that have in the past been a reliable way to filter out a fake watch.
