Hi all,

I originally posted my watch around a year ago, it was left to me and i was looking for some information on it as i was a total watch novice.
Been an interesting year, met with some interesting people from some huge auctioneers mixed with some email conversations with people from Sotheby's, Phillips NYC, Bonhams, Christies and Eric Wind.
Despite the aging around the bezel, valuations were ranging between £55k up to £80k and possibly more if it went to auction.
I was obviously shocked by the interest in such a timepiece, i had no idea of its valuation.
I still have the watch despite the huge interest in it. Still unsure as what to do with it but thought i would just share the news to everyone who took an interest in it the first time i posted last yer.

Many Thanks

Wear it. That's what they are built for. Will not decline in value; Auction with Phillips in Geneva the way to go. Use the end of the year auction. Good luck ! Kind regards from down under. Achim

Could be wise to insure it if you’re planning to keep/wear.
Yes, although its very tempting to wear it, i dont think i would risk it just now. Its currently in a bank safety deposit box.

Strip that bracelet and put a nato on it.
Come now, that's British Army issue... a grey G10 strap from CWC or Phoenix. 😀
