However, I'd like to get your thoughts on a few points:
I'm still learning about vintage Seamaster 300s, so I'd really appreciate any insight or details that you notice.
Unfortunately, I only have these photos at the moment. If there are any additional photos that would help (movement, inside caseback, serial numbers, bezel close-ups, etc.), please let me know and I'll try to obtain them.
Thank you!
I'm currently researching this Omega Seamaster 300 Ref. 165.024 and would really appreciate the opinions of experienced collectors.
From what I can see, the watch appears to have:
- Cal. 552 movement
- Lyre lug case
- Sword hands
- Matte black dial
- Acrylic bezel insert
However, I'd like to get your thoughts on a few points:
- Does the dial look original or could it be a redial/service dial?
- Are the hands period-correct for a 165.024?
- Does the bezel appear to be original, a later Omega service replacement, or aftermarket?
- Is there anything else that stands out as incorrect or replaced?
