Hi,

I am new to the forums and have owned my Seamaster since September it's a lovely watch and I wear it in rotation with my Navitimer, but I would say it's my go to daily.

The other day when I came to take the watch off pushing the buttons on the claps seemed very stiff, when pushing something gave and one side of the pushers stayed locked in, the clasp now falls open, I have found a piece of a small spring that that I believe has come out of the clasp somewhere, in addition the locking mechanism on the clasp now seems locked.

The clasp is the adjustable one with the diver extension, I have an appointment at the Omega Boutique tomorrow will they be able to sort it under warranty?

I do have the 5 year warranty card in place but I am wondering if they can fix or will need to send it off? If so I will need to get a spare strap will they be able to assist with this?

Thanks in advance for the support.

I had a similar issue 3 years ago and when I took it into my AD they had to send it out for service. They needed the whole watch too, not just the bracelet. But this was at an AD and not a Boutique. You have a better chance of them fixing it on scene at a boutique than an AD. The fix did require a whole new clasp with a new part number. I thought that meant they fixed the issue since it was a new part number but I still see these posts pop up from time to time.. Hopefully this fixes your issue. My replacement clasp never had an an issue after the replacement but I sold the watch a year or so later. Good luck!

Looks like this one got resurrected.
