·For sale is a new build Omega Seamaster 300 built by Adam Lewis of Lewis Watch Co. in Australia. He's not making these anymore so here's a chance to add this rare bird to your collection. The looks of a vintage SM300 with the reliability of a new waterproof build.
The patina on this piece is really remarkable and makes it quite unique.
Purchased in January of this year and worn on only a few occasions. The watch still has 6 months on its warranty and also includes a future service as stated below "A full service is included ( All costs inclusive of freight, both movement and case service ) in the price of sale, to be redeemed when necessary"
The watch is in the UK and I can ship worldwide.
Price £3300
From his site:
"Omega Seamaster 300 166.0324 Build
Condition - Like new
Case Diameter - 42mm, lug size 20mm
Case Modifications - Bezel insert aged.
Calibre - 552
Dial - Service aged and relumed. ZnS Lume
Hands - Service relumed. ZnS Lume.
Crystal -Hesalite with silver tension ring.
Case Back -Service.
Strap - Forstner flatlink
Warranty - One Year back to LWC.
Included - Red Omega service case, Pressure test printout, Inside of caseback engraved with LWC build details.
This SM300 was a new build completed on 26th November 2018, it was requested to have a Heavy Patina applied by the new owner before shipping. This includes reluming of the bezel insert, something that only LWC seems to be able to do.
These SM300's use a Cal 552 and I go all out to make them perform as well as possible. Many of the moving parts were replaced and it was fitted with a new balance complete. Again, this is far more comprehensive than your average owner would authorise due to the costs involved.
Timekeeping and power reserve is still well within specification and a service is not required at this time. The case is still properly water resistant. A full service is included ( All costs inclusive of freight, both movement and case service ) in the price of sale, to be redeemed when necessary.
This SM300 was owned by a VIP of Lewis Watch co and is part of a nearly 20 watch rotation so it has had minimal use. "
