Thanks, I did compare with other SM300´s with serial nr closely to mine, but you never know!?
And I will keep the parts, they belong to the watch, and as you wrote - just cosmetic!

I was first thinking about changing the crystal, but if there are no cracks or major damages, I will restore it.
This one will not go in the pool or the shower.
😬
It is about the moisture in the air, sweat, dust. On my daily I`ve change it, original crystal stored...

A question - do you change all the crystals on your vintage watches?
Or only some that you use on a regular basis..?

On vintage watches of course you want to keep it original as much as possible.
If you are going to wear your vintage pieces, all depends on the condition of the crystal. If there is a nick, or internal crack in it, I always tend to change it, to prevent the movement and tritium lume from any moisture... including new case back seal and new seals in the crown.
WR test to 3BAR is enough for regular wear then. Thats my way...

I understand - thanks!
The seals for the crown and case back are always changed during service.
And I will check the crystals (in the future) with a loupe/microscope so they are in a nice condition.

Once again - thanks!
