Why ? What was the tell ?

Take a couple minutes to research fake or aftermarket seamaster 300s. This one has almost everything wrong with it.

A little research would tell you the bezel is wrong and the case is wrong for starters.

Assume that most of ones offered atm are fake. And if it looks too good to be true you have a 99% chance it is

There is only one thing, which is correct to the 166.024 and it is the caliber 565 movement. Even serial number is out of the range.
Rest is a bad fake and never seen Bienne...

Why this is a second tread about the same fake watch form the same user?

Or, as I’ve suspected for many years, we are part of a Psy101 experiment at many universities.

I think that you are not ready to buy a 165.024 without a great deal of studying. Alternatively, you can buy one for a premium price from a trusted fellow collector.

Wow. Maybe “Or” will become the new term of art for a fake SM 300. As in, “I hate those artificially aged dials. And that bezel? Definitely Or.”

You should buy it. Pay whatever it takes. You seem to want it.
