Purchased this from @abrod520 a couple years back, and honestly, it has mostly been in safe deposit box since then 🙁
Anyway, now it is time to move it on, kids and what not. I have reused images from the original sale posting (I hope he will forgive the exposed wrists), but am happy to take more for serious buyers.
Ok on to the description:
As a whole, the watch is beautiful and in excellent condition (in my opinion). Will be hard pressed to find a better one.
Dial - has a gorgeous patina, with a small mark on it near 6 o'clock.
Hands - Small hole filled see original quote, "The minute hand lume had a small hole in it when I bought it that was filled and matched at that service - no other cosmetic work has been done." Original Naiad Crown.
Movement - 15mm, keeps excellent time
Case - Excellent, I believe unpolished.
Bezel - another quote from original FS listing "when I bought it it was described to me as original, yet "stabilized" - I assume it has been laquered somehow. There is some wear on the laquer near the crown between the 10 and 20-minute markers, probably from past hand-winding. I do believe it's original, though I am not an expert on these so have provided close-up photos. If it's not original, it's a very high-quality reproduction - perhaps an Aldo." I don't believe this is an Aldo, but do agree that it has been lacquered. See the attached images.
I'm asking $14000 head only. Wire Preferred (please see feedback for reassurance). I'll cover insured shipping from NYC to most anywhere in the world. Will take returns within a week if not as described. See photos for more details:
