On offer's an early ref 2627 Seamaster with a healthy mix of good and bad attributes.

The 35mm case seems likely to have been polished at some point, though the bevels are still present at the edges of the lugs. The bowler-hat signed crown is likely original given it's early serial number, though I could be mistaken on that. The crystal has no Omega symbol, and the caseback looks very good. the big issue is the crack in the bezel, beneath (roughly) the date. I haven't messed with it, and the bezel's not loose, but obviously that's a significant issue, and one that's well beyond my abilities to address.

The dial is, imo, really lovely (I'm a sucker for waffle dials and 3/6/9/12 numerals). It is clearly original and has aged, and there are darker spots at the edges. Certainly beauty's in the eye of the beholder, but, overall, it presents well. The hands have lost their lume, and the blued second hand has either a) been replaced or b) is original but has lost its tail. I have no idea.

The cal 353 is running surprisingly well, though looks its age and obviously would benefit from a service. That said: it's currently keeping time and the date flips as it should.

I'd like $800 ONO for this, though I'll gladly admit it's hard to price given the bezel. I'm in the US, and am happy to work out shipping and payment methods with the buyer. Thanks for looking, and to mods for continuing to make this such an incredible resource and community.
