·Available for purchase is a non-lume Omega Seamater 2846 “beefy lugs” automatic watch. The watch and I are located in Arlington Virginia and I’m asking $475 shipped in the US.
Dial and Hands - The two tone dial shows some patina and marks, but these are much more apparent in the photos than they are on the wrist. Most of the 2846 watches I’ve seen are lumed with radium, and I think these non-lumed variants are more difficult to find.
Case - The 33.5mm stainless steel case is in good condition. The chaumfers on the lugs and bezel are strong and intact. The watch features the original flat foot clover crown, which protrudes a little further from the case than other 2846 watches I’ve owned.
Movement - The 501 automatic movement looks to be in great condition and keeps time well. According to my notes, I last timed it in November and it lost 40 seconds in 24 hours. Winding and setting are a bit stiff. There are several watchmakers marks in the caseback, so there is a decent likelihood this watch has been well looked after during its life. Service history is unknown.
I will ship via USPS Priority Mail, international shipping available and to be discussed with the buyer. I accept Paypal, Venmo, and Zelle for payment. Any fees to be covered by the buyer and services like G&S are available on a case by case basis. No returns unless significantly misdescribed.
My feedback can be found here: https://omegaforums.net/search/23397681/?q=sonicosa&o=date&c[node]=10
Any questions, feel free to reach out. Thanks for the space, OF!
