Hi all. Up for sale is a quite stunning 14kt gold-capped Seamaster from 1953 in great condition. The watch measurers 34,5mm and the case is nearly untouched. I have only applied the lightest of polishes in order to remove the heaviest patina on the top of the lugs and the bezel, but have led the sides retain the pretty, darkened gold colour. The edges are all sharp as you could wish for and there is only really one minor scratch on the bezel. The movement is unserviced, but in very good condition. The power reserve is long, it runs good and consistently and winds by the lightest turn of the crown. If intended for daily use, it ought to be serviced. The crown and buckle are the original items, the buckle has some scratches and marks from use. The dial has a gentle and even patina, the radium in the hands and by the markers have darkened, but are present where it's supposed to be. The back looks great and free of anything but lightest of hairlines. The "SEAMASTER" and "WATERPROOF" are clear and unworn. Price is €650, PayPal and basic shipping included.
