In my opinion a very nice vintage Omega Seamaster with honeycomb dial. Maybe caliber 471. You realise that to get more details you will have to open and search for the reference number from inside of the case back.

Looks like a 2577 bumper from the early to mid 50s. Movement is probably a 351 or 354 or similar. There are dozens of dial variations so it’s not surprising you haven't found another similar. It looks perfectly normal to me. Arabic number dials were more prevalent in the uk market it seems, but they are seen elsewhere too. If it is from the UK market, it might have a local Dennison case. Taking the back off will tell all.

Something about that number “10” and the “Seamaster “ script just look off to me.

Maybe think about finding a qualified watchmaker to open the back case for you. After 30 years it would need some TLC.

2577 is the reference. Movement is a 354. The serial dates it to early 1950's

I was just messing with Mark. It’s a nice thing and clean original waffle dials do command s premium over the plain ones.

Lovely. Please take / send to a competent watchmaker to have it cleaned and serviced. Do not ask for it to be polished except for the crystal. And perhaps put it on a nice new leather strap and it will be a stunner!

You could go to a jeweler with experience of vintage watches and pay for a valuation, or you could look on Ebay with you new found knowledge and look up sold listings there. For what it's worth this is the kind of watch in the kind of rough/original condition where I'd be a buyer at or around €450 with a service/parts/strap in mind

Or maybe see if there are any collectors' forums that you could join with a view to alerting members to your watch, in the hope that one of them will make you an offer for it?
