Found a good looking vintage watch that i'd love to add to my collection, would love to receive maybe some more experienced input from you guys.

I cant see endlink numbers. And a black dial in such a good condition would be unrealistic to not be a redial. But i‘m not an expert on this reference.

Really poor pictures to make any kind of call about the dial, but based on that one image I'm sceptical about originality.

I can however say with certainty that the case is over polished. This ref should have a slight flat chamfered plain to the topside of the lugs.

Lume in the hands - absolutely no lume in the recesses of the indices...
What more do we need to assess a redial, especially a black one?

Agree. The fonts/numbers don’t look correct. Redial.

Even with one pic there is enough to say this is a redial, and a bad one at that too. Case is overpolished has already been said.

If you are going to dive into the deep end, I'd suggest that you insist on good photos as a starting point.

yes of course i could - but IMHO they don't show anything much new/different to these two. and i'm fine with the input i already received and left the auction without any intent to bid. cheers

Thank you for asking us! I think it was a good decision. When i began to hunt for watches i thought 95% of them are original. But observing the vintage Omega forum opend my eyes. a lot and i really mean alot are not in their original contition anymore. I even think some sellers dont spot that anymore.

I don't agree about the other photos, and I think you should have posted all of the photos, especially the photo showing the dial from straight-on. A straight-on photo allows us to judge alignment of markers in a way that can't be done as easily from an angled photo. Perhaps you weren't aware of that, but with this photo, there is immediately no doubt in my mind. Looking at the photos you posted, it's less certain and takes more effort.

When you don't even know what you don't know, you should probably provide as much information when you can when asking for free advice from experts. Why would you want to make it more difficult instead of helping as much as possible?
