I just received a watch that i was searching for years.
Its a fully restored Omega 1000m, that practically looks like new.
That actually means it lacks the history of one in original condition, but on the
other hand, these watches are really really hard to find.
Additionally the price was too good to let it pass.
Together with my Ploprof these two are the crown of my Omega Diver collection.
But the fun just started because now i need to find a correct 22mm Isofrane, because i am not
much of a fan for the Mesh 😉

enjoy! watch does look good.
and, the lack of history shouldnt matter to you if you dont intend to sell it - wear it as a superbly manuf watch & enjoy your time with it....
forget about investment value, resale values, etc, etc....

Mine has some service parts (dial, hands and bezel) but the case is old and has battle scars. Circular brush finish. Sulaco - I am not English speaking either but I think sunburst and radial is the same thing. At least when talking about wheels - radial spoking means spokes going straight from the central hub - out to the rim. Word origin would, I guess, be radius?

Does the "new found" cases have eight lugholes? Four larger and four smaller? At some time I saw a 1000m sold at ebay that did not have eight.

Regards
JE

good looking watch -- a bit chunky for me but I understand that form follows function.
mesh bracelet is period correct but lik emany others I'm not a fan of this bracelet style...

Looking good! Is the dial in the middle picture the same one installed on the watch in the last picture?

Yes it is!

According to the site: https://www.omegaseamaster1000.com/

it is a pre-series dial.

The Omega Museum in Biel was interested in buying back the watch for their museum. If we had agreed, I would have sold the watch, today I am happy that I still have it...

I can contribute with a Prototype 😀
Omega doesn't provide any Extracts but they could tell me that all parts and serial are matching to the reference.
