Omega Seamaster 166.0209 - original parts?

Hi, just wanted to say this is an amazing forum!

I recently bought a Seamaster 166.0209 from a dealer in my country - first purchase of a vintage watch. While I did try to read up a bit, compare photos and all, would love to get an opinion from the experts here on whether this was a good buy? This cost me somewhere around $650. In my assessment - the dial looks to be original, there is the Omega stamp on the crystal (can't capture it in photos), the case may be slightly over-polished though, and the bracelet is not the right kind for sure.

Hoping to venture deeper into the vintage watch hobby, so would appreciate some insight on whether this was a good start, thanks!

Assuming the condition of the watch is good, your price is not unreasonable compared to similar models offered on eBay and Chrono24.

Yep I also think that bracelet might belong on the watch. I had it's twin a few years back.

If you like what you got, be happy and enjoy. As noted above, your cost is within the range that these often go for on c24/ebay. I love my 166.032.

Looks legit to me. Price is in the right neighborhood, not bad at all if serviced.
