Hi all,

Could you please tell me anything you can spot on this watch? The seller says the watch is from the 60s, with cal 562. He says it is working fine and keeping excellent time but he does not know what parts are original etc.

The only things i noticed are that probably the crown is not the original one and that it does not say "SWISS MADE" on the dial. Should I stay away or not if the price is around 200 USD?

 

It does look like a 166.010, but the dial has been refinished.

Personally, I'd rather pay slightly more for an original dial.

 

Not sure how to track one. I would expect it is easy to find but so far my online searches fail
However if the price is so low, to me it means it is not a very valuable collectible watch. So I was thinking of using it more like an everyday watch. What I am trying to say is that I would not mind if the crown is not the original onw or if the dial ha sbeen changed or refinished. But bear in mind i am extremely new to mechanical watches and I have just started exploring this new world.

Any tips, ideas are welcome.
