Hi All

I have my grandfathers watch that I would like to find the value and any advice to clean the scratched glass and get a new strap (13mm) etc.

It has sentimental value so not looking to get rid of it.

any help is appreciated.

Hi!

New strap should have 19mm (not 13)

If you want to work on the glass yourself use Polywatch

Both should be available online (e bay etc..)

Good luck

Many thanks for the prompt reply

i measured it and you are right 19mm, not sure why I saw 13mm LOL

Will this work?

I also could not find anything online about this exact model, I can only find ones with the same face but have the date as well or are not automatic.

The face has the 2 as Z and 8 as X not sure why they are like that?

many thanks,

So even if the model number is not the same it could have the same dial? any idea of the approximate value?
Do you know if it will be expensive for a cleanup etc?

I am located in South Africa and have no idea which repairers have the skills and reliability.
