I am interested in purchasing a Seamaster 120 and found a great looking piece (above). I would buy it to wear as well as a collectible. The seller, Time Titans has a wonderful reputation. Because I'm a beginning collector I don't have a good feel for price. For such a nice, rare piece is this a fair price? I'm happy to pay fair value, I just don't want to pay a lot over market price. Thanks!

I would say that is a lot more than they should cost. Im selling one of mine on auction right now (wont display where) and If I get half what that dealer is asking I would be thrilled.

That case shape seems highly suspicious. It's been sitting since January, and the price isn't the only reason.

In my experience, Rich is a good guy, and willing to have a conversation about price.

Does anyone have recommendations as to the best dealer for vintage watches? I particularly like Omegas.

I offered Rich $2,400 which he declined. That's fine, its a nice piece but really didn't want to go higher than that. Thanks everyone for the feedback!

With some patience, I think you will be able to get a SM120 for that price. Keep an eye on the forum listings, they come up now and then.

$2,400 would be a mistake. 2 quick reasons
1. Sketchie watch. Even the seller says: " a rare aqua blue bezel that we have never seen before". Nobody has seen it before.
2. No movement or inside case back pics? Why? The sellers other auctions have this.

Keep looking.

I know there were different color bezels like burgundy, blue, etcetera. But I've never seen this color blue. But it does'nt mean it's not legit. But it's way to expensive.

And I cannot rule out that I have seen it before and that I have forgotten it again. I'm getting old...

A reasonable price for a 120 in good condition is 2k in euro. But I must say it's getting more difficult to find one. I've sold 7 of them so you're just a bit late.
