Put this in the search box as a member has given a really good in-depth guide on these 120 models
I’m sure the sea master gurus will be about today at some point to comment. I always google pics for comparison too
It’s pretty difficult to source an original bezel (without buying another SM 120). If you are not ok with the one on it, you might want to pass.
And welcome to the forum!
The rest of the watch is fine and the dial's actually quite nice.
However, the bezel is definitely incorrect and the only time I've seen one of these bezels for sale it went for around £400 if I remember correctly. You may be waiting years for one to come up. It's unfortunate but I would not consider one of these 120's unless it has the correct bezel.
Here's mine.
Personally although its quotes a good price, I wouldn't go for it. You will probably need to spend c.£400 fir the bezel but you might be waiting years for this. Then you'll need to get it to a watchmaker for installation, hoping the siding still works.
Why not just pony up the extra and buy a complete one now?
The only reasons for buying a watch lacking a major part is a) it's dirt cheap, b) it's a rare watch. This is neither.
