What are the Clues?
Just looks wrong and the hands are just wrong. You look at enough and some just look wrong and are clearly redialed. Might not always be correct, but you can be generally pretty sure.

What are the Clues?
The fresh as a daisy dial mated to an aged/dirty movement/case.
Alpha hands not usually seen on this reference, seconds hand not Omega style for this era/reference.

I agree that the dial doesn't look right. Interestingly, I had a ref 2348 at one point and sold it on the forum several years ago for less than $500. Aged dial, but honest.

that's a great reference point. so the hands do seem to fit, the writings not really though.

The hands are generally the right shape for the era.

I will say that I generally look for a stylistic/length match between hands and dial markers. For example, in the watch I posted, you can see that the arched and tapered shape of the hands complements the markers perfectly. Also, the minute hand extends exactly to the end of the markers. This is what you want to see.

The OP watch looks "off" to me, but I'm not 100% sure. In any case, the reprinted dial is already a dealbreaker, IMO.
