The stainless steel case measure 35mm exluding the crown, 38,5 mm with crown and impressive 43 mm lug to lug!!! this is a really oversize case, by the lenght of the lugs, this watch looks in the wrist huge. Omega introduce the reference 2639 case in 1949, is a beautiful faceted stainless steel example. The case condition is as you can see in the pictures, so flawless like the caliber 266 movement, the most reliable in- house caliber ever made, from this Swiss first brand, inspected, cleaned and oiled by a professional watchmaker two weeks ago, the watch works fine and keep time with excellent accuracy.
